While it came out many years ago, the game is still very much loved as well as popular among fans of the series. The fourth mainline installment in the franchise is none other than Saints Row IV itself, otherwise written simply as Saints Row 4. The game was also installed on a Samsung SSD M.2 NVMe 1GB.Saints Row is a popular series of action games, each with its own story which is linked together in different ways. We also used Windows 10 64-bit and the latest version of the GeForce drivers. Naturally, we’ve paired this machine with an NVIDIA RTX 2080Ti. In order to capture this footage, we used an Intel i9 9900K with 16GB of DDR4 at 3600Mhz. It’s really a shame as the initial PC version of Saints Row The Third Remastered looked and ran great on the PC platform. And, as you may have guessed, this Steam version will come out one year after the game’s Epic Games Store release. Otherwise, they can hope to God that the Steam version will fix these issues. That is of course if they have a contact email. Thus, all PC gamers can do is directly email Deep Silver. The game came exclusively on Epic Games Store, which does not feature any forums (or at least product comments). What’s really depressing here is that there aren’t any official forums for Saints Row The Third Remastered. Do note that this behavior occurs when you haven’t attacked anyone. Some of the NPCs were literally trying to crash us when we were driving. For instance, some “ neutral” cars were aggressive for no apparent reason. We also noticed some really weird AI issues.
Even by lowering the music volume, some background sounds are so low that make the whole experience as unpleasant as it can get. Seriously, the game sounds awful and there is nothing you can do in order to fix it.
Gun sounds are low on volume, car sounds are almost completely gone now, environmental sounds are either too low or too high on volume. Thus, and as a result of these frame pacing issues, the game is choppy even when running at constant 67fps on a G-Sync monitor.įurthermore, this latest update has messed up the game’s sound. Ironically, the review/initial code did not suffer from this bug. Now the reason I’m bringing this up is because this FPS lock introduces major frame pacing issues. This happens even when you force V-Sync Off, in both NVIDIA’s control panel and the in-game settings. However, and after its latest update, the game is currently completely broken and, literally, unplayable on the PC platform.įor starters, the game is now automatically locking its framerate at 67fps. Saints Row The Third Remastered came out in May 2020 and its initial version worked like a charm on the PC.
